Fuzzy's Farm

That's a beautiful chicken, Nova. I want one - don't care if it is pet quality. All our animals are pet quality except for the new baby goats coming before Christmas. I also want a couple of lavender orpingtons.
Not much here going on tonight. Pooped. Had a girl quit this weekend, so i had no helper today.................Boy i earned my wages! So sore and pooped. DH bought me some adult "blackberry juice" and chocolate last night, gonna hit them. :) It is the cure for all evils, i'm convinced :)

On the oz thing, it bothers me because there were things i read in my health book years ago, told friends, long story short they laughed at me for believing everything i read..........(h pylori bacteria causing acid reflux, "ridiculous". zinc shortens colds, "boy what a sucker".........it goes on. ) But oz says it and it's golden!

I am glad that people are doing something about health, it just bugs me that my friends seemed to think i was such a quack, and now the type of reading i did back then is going public no one even remembers i tried to help! My mom still does it. I can tell her what she needs, nada. Oz says the same thing a week later and she runs out to get it! (magnesium) Grrr.

That's one of the things i like about you guys, you all seem to be well informed! So i am not only NOT seen as a "quack", i actually learn quite a bit too! :)
I think you're extremely knowledgeable, Fuzzy. Wish I knew half of what you know about these things. I'm just starting to learn. The prednisone knocked me on my bottom - glad I've only one day left. Dr now wanting me to start seravent for long term asthma prevention but "if you feel depressed and suicidal when you start it let me know.." Well, I can tell you that now I don't want to start seravent. Think I'll try some of the more natural preventatives. depression I don't need!

ha ha, adult blackberry juice and chocolate- I've got some of that ha ha. definitely think it cures all evils...

;D well two of us agree on it so it must be so, lol.

Well, i read a lot, that's how i picked up so much. My pet hen that died was never strong, she had so many things go wrong in her life :( Most of what i know was picked up during my frantic reading during those times. I have a link in my siggy if you want to browse! Other than that, read that book i recommended a few times :) Good way to kill time in the winter. :)

Hey nova, you know that you can put that splash with a black and get 100% blues, right?

Nova here is the true tea guru :D

I'm still trying to understand why you don't do a cleanse while treating stones? To keep from pushing them?

In other news, I shaved my head. I'm not really sure why..... I guess I was just sick of being told to act more "lady-like" so I cut off my hair. And I LOVE it!! It's so easy to just wash it with a teeny bit of shampoo, rinse, and be done. No drying, no styling, nothing. And I feel confident. I don't wonder if anyone's staring at me because my hair is a mess, because they are staring because of my hair. I don't worry people will talk about my weird hairstyle, because they are. There's nothin' I can do about it. And I. Don't. Care. I really don't give a rat's behind what people think now. It's the best feeling ever.

I've been playing "Bad Reputation" at full volume for the last three days. It seems appropriate......

Oh, you are a quack hun, but so are we! LOL.

It was like that when my mom got shingles. Took her to see her dr. He told her since she didn't come when they first started to show up, there was nothing he could do except give her pain management... HA! I was like, oh, hello, no, I do not think so. I went did a bunch of reading/research, and finally found what I was looking for. She was cleared up in two weeks. No residual pain or nothing. Same with my UC... I was told it would eventually lead to crohns or colon cancer, but it would just have to be managed. In less than 3 months after my diagnosis, cleared up! And what was I told? Musta been misdiagnosed cuz there was no way I could have cured myself with food and supplements. This was 8 years ago... Now more and more people are turning to holistic/naturapathy because it does work. Everything starts in the stomach. Your stomach is your immune system. If your stomach is feed garbage, then your immune system can become garbage, and your body can become garbage. I am not saying natural is the only way, or necessarily the best way. BUT it is an option that should be considered. More people are doing it, and the big pharma's are getting pissy and trying to shut it down, or get control of it. Its in congress right now, trying to get laws passed that would pharmaceuticalize/require perscript for what we like to get from the health food/natural foods store. Make it so you can't treat yourself naturally.

Ya know fuzzy, you aught to look into going to school for becoming a naturapath...

I started this message several hours ago... I had to rush my little guy to the ER. He and his brother were coming around the corner from different directions at full speed. SO, you have a 35 pound kid collide with a 90 pound kid... and a corner... This round went to the 90 pound kid and the corner. Aiden has 3 stitches in his forehead. He was so good though when they had to put him in the papoose to hold him down. When they gave him the numbing shots in his split, he only wimpered and told the doctor to cut it out. LOL, he didn't cry, just kept breathing deep when it hurt and he was just amazing for a three year old. They had a nurs holding his head and one holding his legs. He didn't even struggle or freak out at all. They were all impressed by how calm he was. The Doc was totally expecting him to have a screaming fit. I was expecting him to have a fit.

Anyway, one hell of a head ache but no concussion. Going to bed now. Have a good nite.

Ouch. Looks like he has some awesome pain tolerance for a little guy. My 13yr old would have screamed bloody h^ll and it would've taken an army to hold her down.
Glad he didn't require too many stitches and is doing okay excepting the headache.
