Gadhafi

I thought they were kidding when I heard it on the news. Apparently they found him hiding in a drain under a street. What a place to be for someone who only three days ago claimed to be "Loved by all his people".

I've been following along with this since the morning. It's interesting, really, I'm just worried about something bad happening as a result of this and I have a strange feeling something will...

Also, no matter how terrible of a person he was, I can't stomach celebrating another living critter's death and I really don't see the point. He's dead: he's dead, deal with it.

And I know this is going to sound contradictory to what I said on not celebrating others deaths, but I couldn't resist...

Some people celebrate, I just groan. This is a rerun of every other revolution in the history of the planet. The oppressed take down their oppressor (good) and then promptly begin oppressing (bad). BTW, isn't it a little messed up to celebrate death?

Gadhafi actually destroyed his nuke in compliance with UN/NATO requests, and got taken down for it. That message will not be lost on the rest of the world. Is it any wonder that the Iranians want nukes so bad?

Notice the results of the following revolutions:

French Revolution results: death and tyrrany.
Russian Revolution results: death and tyrrany.
Attempted European revolutions in 1848 results: death and tyrrany.
Chinese Revolution results: death and tyrrany.
Egyptian Revolution results: death and tyrrany.
Libyan Revolution results: take a wild guess.
