and how to charge the battery? i think we can't use conventional 12 volt adaptor to do that, can we?

my battery is eks truk car battery that use acid liquid inside it. i don't know what's it called in english.

here we are.

as you wish terri, i just gave POD her first swimming lesson.
big_smile.png

she is not too happy to be put on water, maybe the water is too cool for her.
big_smile.png

as i think, she is not swimming maybe but she of course can float completely on water since all we know duck have an *oily layer* on their feet to make them float on water.

1) POD swimming (perhaps)

2) POD on daddy's hand (she hates daddy, since she's always want to escape from my hand)

3) POD on the tile floor. she keep slipping, not like chick that can stand better on tile floor.

wishes granted terri.

by the way heather, why duck always have problem with their feet? and why my duck on my backyard can't be more *bigger*? she is just too small and she have one of her feet can't be use and even she's screaming when the drake mounting her, i know that's caused by pain when the drake heavy body is above her. i always chase the drake whenever he make her screaming.

MULIA !!!!!!!!! I am so thrilled your duck hatched, as previously said I keep a close eye on your thread....Yayyyyyy for you
celebrate.gif
my now indoor hens are still setting on 9 eggs remaining, other night I cracked one open and a baby was in it, I cried all night I killed it, the yolk was not even half absorbed, haven't touched them since, but being as I found the nests in my yard I had no idea how far along they were and two rotten ones made me worry......they started stinking something fierce....But I still have the one lone chic who hatched from the first 10 eggs all others were rotten, I named my fuzzy little yellow chic UNO.....the neighborhood kids come daily to visit it, It's still sooo tiny but doing great, loves boiled eggs....Good Luck Mulia wishing you all the best with future hatches

Dixie

and now i'm sure but high temp up 107 F won't kill all of them but will lower hatching rate and kill the weaker embryos and i don't want it happen anymore, i will use proper thermo next time and the only time temp can spike is when i don't have time to watch it and unfortunately yes, i've too limited time to watch over them.
