@ wegotchickens : we need to try it to know the result of it.
i'll do it if there is any chicks that develop *into* hen, but they looks like rooster
. i can't mate rooster with rooster
.
hope the result good but need 20 weeks more after the chicks reach *maturity* period to be mated.
@ dancing bear: thank you so much, never feel better.
@ bloomnbeauty : latest, total *flock* 9, 2 just hatched half hour ago,
here we are. note: eggs shell removed, no more pipping and zipping at all.
13 eggs didn't make any sign at all and now 22nd days.
sure, will glad to see yours .
pics above is village chicken and unfortunately i never have arabic chicken (till 2 days ago
) so i can't post the mature arabic chicken but i do have the chicks now.
village chicken good in *fighting* against small predator like rat and will be a good mom and usually lay small egg and without any kind of crumble or whatever that feed name, they can lay egg normally, they also have high attitude
, the rooster is the *proud* one, won't pull back when fighting with other rooster (mine died 1 for killing each other
).
and arabic chicken, although i don't have the pic and never raise them, my friend do have thousand of them.
. brown colored at all feathers. too slow and spoiled one (they are breed special for taken eggs for 8 months production and then after that peak season they're sold to butcher). walk slowly like a princess (that's my friend told me
). even they can have problem with eyes if get the dust in
. that's why the farmer or ranch owner have them in special cage/coop that have lower side so they just lay egg when standing and the egg drop down and taken by owner and have no proper life, just like broiler, after eight months producing egg, owner sell them as meat because (according to my friend) they will eat more and produce less) as for me i won't see that only from egg production matter of course.
