I worm twice a year in the Fall before winter and breeding season and in the Spring. This helps the geese keep from having worms and go through the winter with no stress of worms. They need to be as healthy as possible going into the winter this helps the geese stay in good shape for the winter. Plus in the Spring when I worm.
I have had really good luck doing this practice. I do not see any worms in their stools after doing these worming's. Some people will over worm which is a bad idea. That is why if you suspect a goose of having worms they recommend taking a stool sample in so the vets can tell you if they do have worms and what kind to worm for.
