I even fermented a batch which is now plum wine. It is currently about 15% alcohol and has a nice taste to it.

Well, @N F C is at least in the "ballpark" to get a bottle!

Most of my annual flowers are kaput. Before the frosts came, I took some last pix and wanted to share.

Print those out, stick them in the windows and instead of winter, you will see summer all they way til spring!

Not sure the name of this flower, but it is frost resistant to some degree. These are still blooming NOW.

Google says it is a gilliflower. Which is better than it usually does. Most of the time it says "flower". Very pretty whether it is a gilliflower or not.

And in case anyone is wondering I did get my second knee replaced last Friday. Lots of moaning, and crying. I forgot how hard this is. My head is a bit wonky from pain pills. Today is better than yesterday. That's all I can hope for from each day.

It's slow going. I think I'm getting somewhere, but than I go to therapy and the guy works me too much. I am healing faster with this knee than the last. I continue to wonder how people older than me go through this. It's so painful, and never ending. Thanks for asking. It has been a rough 2 weeks for me. Feels like months.

sometimes i cheat and eat something with sugar, not often cause it cause my blood sugar to go up in the 200's or ever 300's, just not worth it any more, not with the cost of the medicine i have to take, just picked up one today, $485. for three months,( i pay) and thats with insurance paying the majority of it

yes, but my insurance pays around 1,600. for its share, this is just the co-pay and no, no generic yet, but in my opinion, still better than insulin shots big pharm has you between a rock and a hard place
