Have you tried that one that has 4 claws and you twist it? My Dad liked the one i bought him.
I almost bought one last year, but they seemed heavy. I have lost a lot of my strength and mobility in the last few years. I can work a regular flat hoe for a short while, but need something a bit better.

Yes, I have ordered from this site. I ordered the 6" scuffle hoe. The first one they sent me was not at all acceptable. There was a nick on one of the angles, and the tip was curled up. I called and complained, followed up with a photograph, and they did a good job replacing the defective product. I absolutely hate using a standard hoe, but find this one much easier to use. Even though I am short, I much prefer the longer handle b/c it gives me better leverage and longer reach. I would recommend this hoe to any one.

Has anyone used these LED lights before? They seem odd to me, i am used to fluorescent.

I do not recommend Burpee Hybrid 100 (cherry type) tomatoes. Only because i paid $2.49 and got 12 seeds! I think there are probably more seeds in one cherry tomato than that. Boo! Cheap so and so's . Sure hope they grow for that much.

I don't know why seed companies charge so much for so few tomato seeds either. I did not get very many in my packets either.
But I will save my seeds from my crop this year.

I have and they do work well. They come from a series of experiments NASA did to grow vegetables on the space station. Different plants use different colors of light for enhanced growth, so the grow light companies try to have the different colors present in a single light.
