SAME BUSH HAS BOTH PINK, AND RED FLOWERS. Bees must have been involved here. I have quite a few rose bushes. Not all Knockouts.

Glad you found the old repair manual. Maybe online info is for newer ones
You can find a lot of manuals online. It sounds like Jim was getting suggestions from forums where people may not be familiar with the exact engine/model someone posting a question has and just say what their similar engine needs.

My flowers are blooming for my enjoyment
And ours!

yup, I was checking on forums and trying other sites, too. I found one that was good, but I couldn't figure out how to get a specific answer.
my biggest problem is my eyesight.
I can't read the manual without using a magnifying glass. not a pleasant experience.
today I am going to do some big tractor work. I hope the rain holds off.

you should watch me saw wood on my table saw.:lau
I just took the mower deck off of the old Husqvarna zero turn . the blades do turn, but I think I will take the spindles apart and check the bearings. It sat for over five years. new bearings are not too expensive. the blades look real good, despite the rust. I have a new set that I bought way back when I was still using this mower.
the drive belt is bad.

today I am playing electrician. I got a deal on some LED 3light fixtures . So I am adding a couple of extra lights in two dark corners of my garage. I have string on/off switches . I don't need the lights to go on every time I go into the garage.
I picked up a float hinge pin for one of the lawn mower carbs today. $7.20
I got to thinking, there must be a drill bit the same diameter as that pin. probably wouldn't cost more than a buck or two.

Reason for the high price,,,, Item not likely to be sold for a long time. It is not something to wear out,, but only get lost during repair/disassembly.
I would have tried a #4 finish nail first. Then go thru my drill index, and see if one of those would fit. Small sizes do come in 1/64 th increments, but you would need a good hardware store to get such. Big Box homecenters usually just carry complete sets.
When I work on stuff, with small parts,, I carefully place all of them, and screws into a fresh can,, so ALL items related are together. :thumbsup

all I have left to do is tie down the wires and the new garage lights will be finished. I ended up putting in three lights.
I have to figure out how to get reverse to work on the lawn mower hydrostatic transmission. I will start by changing the fluid.
we canned six quarts of tomatoes. our DD gave us the tomatoes. she might have some more for us..

I have all the three new lights working in the garage. when all five lights are on there is not a shadow or dark spot anywhere.
now that I am done with that, I sharpened the electric chain saw and was going to cut the big branch off of the black walnut tree. so naturally, it rains for two days. that's OK, we need the rain, and I needed a day off.
