Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

You mentioned that you already got frost.:(

What is remaining good in your garden currently?:frow
Everything. I turned the sprinklers on the garden the morning it frosted and saved the garden.

The pumpkin vines that escaped the garden through the fence did not survive.

I used green ones for Green Tomato relish and in tomato stew.

Only 10 or 12 ripened here our grape tomato is still going.
rest have only gave greens ones.
Think I will start my own quite early this next year.

I only plant short season tomatoes. I start mine either the second or third weekend in March. If I start them too soon they get set back really bad when I move them to the garden.

In years with an early frost I bring the green ones in and let them ripen in the house. Takes up a lot of space because they tend to rot if you stack them.
