Here's the problem with almost everything created, these days. A bunch of young upstart saftey engineers want to make a name for themselves, so they come up with new designs for everything, in order to save the world from itself, but they never have the time nor experience to fieldtest something in everyday, real life situations...It all works on paper, or is that the computer screen?

And then when an engineer thinks something is great, management will sign something off that wasn't approved and send it off to be made at lowest bidder so the "real deal" never works like deigned.

those are the same folks that design cars so that to replace the altenator the first step is remove front quarter panel....

Which is why I have a really old one from my dad. It's not THAT old (it is plastic), but it's been outside so long that it's no longer red. It pours gas really well though!!

Dh picked up a 5 gallon gas can,and teases me because I can't figure out the darn cap. I will use my older 1-2 gallon can that has a very easy on/off open/close set up. I am not messing around at the gas station, and then praying the gas doesn't spill in the car. Dh can use the big fancy safety one!
