Gazillion flies!

The bags that stink like rotting meat work really well. Hang them AWAY from the house and coop. One product I could not live without is Golden Malrin. It is a fly poison that comes in tiny crumbles. I get a gallon milk jug and about 2 inches from the bottom I cut round holes the size of a dime. Them I put about 1/2 inch of Golden Malrin in the jug, put the top on and hang it away from the house or coop. The flies fly in, take one bite and drop dead. The Malrin is very poisonous and the chickens (or anything else) should not eat the dead flies.

The instructions say you can sprinkle it on the ground but I don't like that idea. Good luck with the flies. They have been bad this year. The feed stores usually sell Malrin but you can also order it online.
