My name is Susannah and I'm from far, north coast New South Wales - near Byron Bay...my partner and I have five dogs, three cats, three rabbits, three guinea pigs, eleven budgies, two Cockatiels, a Rosella, a tame Lovebird and nine Jap. quails...we did recently have two Chinese Silkies - white rooster, (Snowy) and a apricot hen, (Henny Pen)...we had them since they were chicks, but in our neighbourhood, roosters are not allowed, so we returned him to his breeder - she was very impressed by him, so that was good. Some weeks later a horrid fox killed Henny, she had such a sweet, little nature...we were waiting to find another hen to keep her company...with this happening though, we are going to make sure that the hens are going to be very secure, before bringing any others home.
Some of my other interests, besides the animals are - gardening, photography - mainly clouds/nature/pets and painting.
I've read a few posts here and everyone has great information and are very helpful...looking forward to reading more.
Cheers,
Susan :)

Hi Susannah and welcome to BYC - great that you have joined us.
