Well thought of share yesterday I drove about an hour and a half about half an hour before I got to my destination my car all of a sudden got twice as loud with a different noise and misfiring First I obviously opened the hood to see if I could see anything visually wrong my AC belt that was there 2 days prior was gone
ok although I didn’t think that being gone could cause my problems. I was right I got it home today and got it jacked up and was able to get underneath turns out my passenger side exhaust the first part of the exhaust decided it was gonna completely detach from the headers so I have something to do this next week at least lol
Odd that those two things happened simultaneously.

That's crazy, no bolts at all!
 
I thought it would have rusted, but all you need is a couple bolts.
Yep. I already got them and the gasket just have to get with my buddy later today and put it together
That's an easy fix. I would check to see if you compressor is locked up before you waste another belt.
Yeah. If so I don’t really care I’m more then likely gonna get rid of the AC at some point when I start building it more as I drift it more.

Check motor mounts while you're under there. Make sure they're good as well. Losing a serp belt AND exhaust bolts could be a coincidence, but it could also be from stuff shakin' around because your mounts have unalived.

Yeah. I did. Looks like theyre good. The exhaust bolts were more then likely from the pops and flames the old owner had tuned on it I didn’t get cruise control to switch maps till late December so pops and flames was on for a while and they ended up falling out. For the AC belt I’m not sure probably was just worn and ended up popping.
 
Nice warm day out, took Clyde to pick up #3 from school. There are very few things more fun than driving a slow car fast.
