Well that's gotta suck
Yeah. so far I’ve pulled all the carpets out of the trunk pulled everything out of the spare tire well and wiped up everything I could and used some cat litter to help soak up the rest I’m either gonna buy new carpets or spend all day tomorrow scrubbing them with dawn then going from there unfortunately I had a good amount of stuff back there so both my snell helmets are goners there’s $400 a bunch of extra parts for my car (I should be able to clean those off and they’ll be fine) and a bunch of tools most of it will be fine but I had a drill and a couple other power tools back there I’m unsure about. Next time I’m gonna build something that will hold the thing of oil so it’s not just in my trunk even though it’s been fine for a month now then all of a sudden it decided to slide and break open idek when it happened I just found out about it while I was driving home from work. It also seems like my passenger side harness has a good amount of oil soaked into it hopefully I can pull those out and scrub it good enough to get the oil out or there’s another $150.

Either way lesson learned don’t carry oil in my trunk.

You should try mixing warm water and dawn in a pump up sprayer, spray the crap out the carpet let it sit for a few minutes then pressure wash. Then repeat more times. It may work better than just a pressure wash

Suburban at one mechanic for new steering box
DS1 Camaro at another mechanic for transmission lines
S-10 scheduled at a different shop for flywheel
It’s empty in front of the house right now 😂

Mini’s truck is getting new front axles, fuel line fixed and some other tweaking. Hopefully the heater is getting fixed as well 😂
