Hello! Two months ago I bought two sapphire gems from TSC, but I am doubting they are what they were sold as, because at two months old, they are as big or bigger then our largest hen, or should I say was our largest hen. Here's a "sapphire gem" and our "largest hen".

Oh, gosh. Silly me! I read your post, and somehow my silly brain just sifted that out.
She *looks* like a gem. How much does she weigh? My biggest hen weighs over 8 lbs.

The yellow on the bottom of the feet does make me think Jersey Giant. Really cool that you got one even if it was a mistake.
