Sorry for misunderstanding you. (not all white egg layers have white earlobes but most do)Obviously, since it is an identifying factor of all white egg layers. I merely suggested that since it was already established as being a common breed, a white earlobe would mean it is a white egg layer and would mean that it is likely to be a leghorn, since it is the most common white egg layer. Never did I say that a leghorn is the only breed with a white earlobe.

Just looked that breed up as I'd never heard of it. Wow, they are so pretty and cute with their fluffy beards. That gorgeous rooster must be a silver spangle but I love the chamois colour. Very glad they aren't available in my country as I would have to have one!Thuringain
