Gender Check ~ Rooster or Hen?

Some friends of mine are new to chickens and would like the confirmation on this one's gender. Personality wise this chicken is more aggressive than the others and makes a lot of growly sounds compared to the other's clucking.




This last picture is a comparison between the ? chicken (left) and a same age/breed flockmate.

Please post your determination and the reasons why.

They look like females to me. The reason I say that is you would notice the sickle and hackle feathers coming in at this age. They look to be 20+ week old?

Agreed. Roosters would be pretty apparent by that age. They have blunt tails, no skinny pointed sickle or hackle feathers; just a general hen appearance.
