The lighter one definitely looks like a male. Most hatchery sexed chickens are about 90% accurate so there will be some mistakes. I know when our TSC had barred rock pullets I could tell there were quite a few males in there. What are yalls thoughts on the barred rocks? They only had barred rock pullets for sale, how often does a rooster get thrown in accidentally? I would be happy if he ends up being a rooster, he is very sweet so he is staying either way.
These are the two Rhode Island Reds. The one I am pretty sure is the rooster is the first one, he has been getting picked on the most by all the mean Wyandotte Roos. He's looking rough, so I will separate them today once I figure out boys from girls.
The second pic I am pretty sure is a hen.

These are the two barred rocks. The first pic is the one I think is a boy. His stripes are larger, and he is lighter colored now that you mention it. I just assumed since they are low quality hatchery chicks from TSC, they were just inconsistent colored.
The second picture I think is a girl.

Wyandotte #1 Bad attitude and most likely a rooster.

Wyandotte #4 This one isn't as mean. More dull comb. I'm hoping a hen.

Wyandotte #5 I have no idea. But with my luck probably a rooster also.

All your guesses seem correct so far. Please post again in a couple weeks for me to be absolutely sure.Wyandotte #6 last one. I think it's a hen. She is not mean. But I have no idea on this one either.
