@BlackHackle here's a list of breeds that I can provide pictures of, just tell me which breeds you could do with pictures of

Rhode Island Red (male and female)

Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bantam(rooster did well in poultry show last year, and also has a dubbed comb) (male and female)

Ginger-Red Old English Game Bantam (Female)

Light Sussex (female)

Partridge silkie (non-bearded, I'm unsure of it's gender)

White Silkie (non-bearded, I'm unsure of it's gender)

Splash Pekin Bantam (I bred them but sold to a friend a few years ago, so pics are just a maybe)

Black Pekin Bantam (same story as with the splash)

If there's anything I can do to help please @ me, and 'd be happy to do it

As far as discord goes I was thinking of using it while developing the program so we can work with eachother about what we need or want.

that's fine. It will be easier to do it while it's being worked on rather than after it's done and having to go back and change it all.

So this is where I'm at. We have the option to use our own pictures.
I'm thinking if I can figure out how to fill out everything correctly we can change the finishing/design and maybe figure out how to put this into a plugin for the site (BYC)

At some point, it might be very beneficial if the group of us working on this can get together on a discord or something and view my screen using a screen share so that we can work through this together.

Oh, maybe we could have it like that with an "advanced" button so that people who know what theyre doing can alter it more. Or also a show genotype for those who are trying to learn.

I havent used kippen much because it was too difficult. But it does seem like a good starting place. Having as much as we can with the other traits added would be a nice thing to set ours apart too, but there really isnt a ton of research into all of the things we want to add.

It's not so difficult if you know how to use it. Just plug in the genotypes in "advanced" and click "calculate cross".


Or start with the simple version and click "crossing over" on the right side. They also have other species ex: ducks, dogs, cats, geese, turkeys, goats, llamas, (but the turkeys are very incomplete, I've found genes they don't mention on Porter's page easily.)

So I looked at their code and some things I understand and others I do not.
I'm not sure which is a better idea: coding our own from scratch or using their template and modifying the format.
If we code our own we should be able to put it into a plugin.
