German New Hampshire

Gee whiz Kathy, you hit the nail on the head. I did and I do. I did take motrin and my back is killing me. lol Thanks nurse Kathy. I knew this was going to happen though. I didn't sleep well last night (nerves I guess) and when I don't get my sleep I almost always get a headache. lol Thanks

Hope you feel better immyjay. Get us some pics as soon as you can. I doubt very much I'd be sleeping well right now either if I were you.

Oh my, had to lay down for a couple of hours. My head was really splitting. Just checked bator and I now have 4 NH's eggs with little pips and I can hear them every once in a while talking to each other. No zipping yet which is okay for now. Temps hanging right at 99.3 to 99.6 and humidity still up at 73-74 so all seem good on that. I sure do hope that most of them are out before I have to leave for church tomorrow evening. lol
Thanks bud

Well they've started. chick on the right is the Delaware from one of the test eggs. Chick on the left is the first of the NH's. I won't be posting anymore till this is over then I'll let you know what the outcome is. Got to get off this computer for a while. The zipping started at 12:15 and the first popped out at 12:25 the next was at 12:40 A.M.

Fyi, I will be travelling from TN to PA next weekend. I have a trio of New Hamps available that can be transported for pickup along the way. 2 100% german pullets and 1 german/american cockerel. The cockerel took Reserve of Variety at his first show in November in a class of 14. He is a good looking guy. Pullets are point of lay, june hatch. PM for more details.

Looks like you are having a great hatch! I can hardly wait to see them all ! Congratulations!

News Flash: As of 10:45 A.M. EST. lol 5 NH and 2 test eggs are hatched. That means 7 more NH and 1 test egg to go. I really don't want to turn lights on to take pictures because it seems that when I turn the lights on in the room where the incubator is the ones that are already out want to play havoc with the ones that aren't hatched yet. lol Sure didn't get much sleep. ha,ha Oh well, if I get a good hatch or even with what I have now I can say it was worth loosing sleep over. Thank God for our weather, no power outages. That's always a big concern of mine this time of the year.
Hey Kathy, this little Delaware/Marans cross is sure a cute little creature. I really wasn't planning that, it is just that they are together in my laying flock for the time being. lol Wanted to tell you also that I love this. I'd bet this is true for most of us.
Honey, you do nothing in moderation.~my husband
