well got all the ice fishing stuff ready today, going out tomorrow fishing, where going after perch, and maybe some walleyes if they bite. but if am super lucky tomorrow i might just get a burbot or a pike for the smoker.

got my perch rod (its just a little ultra light ugly stick ice fishing rod) set up and most likely going to run a dead bait tip up or use my pike jigging rod for some dogfish i mean burbot (sorry we call burbot dogfish here) or maybe a pike. who knows see what is biting

just to let everyone know the ice is about 15 inches thick on this lake and we can use two rods on the ice (compared to 1 during open water)

I will be interested to see what you catch! Take pictures please!
X2 It's been decades since I've been ice fishing, last time out though we brought in perch and walleye. They froze solid in the bucket. One day six or seven months later, we put some perch in the sink to thaw, so that they could be cleaned and cooked... Had to run to the hospital for several hours (totally unrelated to the fish), came home and found the perch swimming and splashing around the sink.
