On the poll at the beginning of this thread, I ought to check... "not at all" since my sense of time is so skewed right now, eh?
<LOL> on physical and practical levels, yes, ready. Chicken coop winterized, driveway graded, kitchen is redone, pantry and critter supplies are stocked... we are counting on good weather to get the roof replaced !soon!
On other, less material levels, I don't know what day/month it really is. Time got skewed somewhere this past 5 months. Some years are like that. I am looking forward to 2018.

I have a hard time figuring out what day it is sometimes because we are retired and mostly stay on the property. No where we need to go on certain days, pretty much every day consists of getting things done. If i decide to go shopping i check my phone to be sure the stores i want to go to will be open.

We certainly have been losing daylight....10 more days until Solstice!! Not that we'll really notice for a few weeks after, but still Blessed Be.

well with that fish we got am making fish jerky,
found a recipe online for Hawaiian fish jerky sounded really good. so going to have perch jerky to make today.

caught this little guy running close to the chicken coop, good thing it is winter and there locked it, going to be setting weasel boxes for it.

Where are you located? So neat to see but not near the chicken coop!
I screwed another piece of wood on the pop door opening set up to try and block cold air coming in. And made a couple frames for plastic pans to hold water for the bunnies while water bottles are frozen.
