Getting better at this

So today, it was a bit cold to garden, so I started processing a couple of birds. I just did it, not a lot of planning, just set it up, check my list, and an hour and half later, got 3 birds in the fridge.

So if you are overwhelmed, and it takes you hours to process a bird or two, know that it gets better. I used to plan it out for days, worried about every aspect, tried so hard to do it perfectly, and now, just not that big of deal. Will probably do a couple more tomorrow, and let the others wait a week, still some growing to do, and getting the competition out of the pen will help.

It gets better.

The adage "practice makes perfect" (or at least easier) seems appropriate. I do find processing multiple birds easier if I do it more frequently, too.
