Getting Ducks to like humans

I have one mallard of unknown gender and 3 Welsh harlequins, all are supposed to be female. How do I get these ducks to be more friendly? I’ve had the mallard since it was 2 days old and I got the WH 2 days ago at 6-7 weeks old. I want them to know I’m friendly. Thanks.

It takes time to when their trust. I just go an sit with my ducks not asking anything of them but just being their in their midst. Sometimes I am working around in their area sometimes I am giving them snacks and other times we look for worms. But being out with them not trying to pick them up but just being there to me gives them the mind set that I am not going to hurt them.

I think routine has helped with our lot - that being said, they do like to let me know when I have got it 'wrong'.

Ours are loony for mealworms and will take long stems of spinach if we hold it - thats not a trust thing, thats a spinach thing.
