Getting more chicks!! How long to quarantine?

Getting one (maybe two

) more chicks to replace the surprise roo I got....love how that chicken math works

They are approximately the same age as the chicks I have now, but how long should I quarantine them?

4 to 5 weeks...from a farmer in the next town....

I would say a week at the least but I would keep separate for 2 weeks or so.

You can't get just 1 or 2 chicks they Both might be Roosters.... Lol You should get 5-6 to make sure your getting enough chickens. Chicken math is wonderful isn't it? What breed are they?

Thanks Nate for the advice! Here are my two newest babies....once again they are supposed to be both female, but I have heard that before. So now I am up to 6 chickens....chicken math is BAD! I couldn't bring home just one....she would be lonely in the separate brooder all by herself LOL
