My 3 eggs in the incubator have gone completely black on day 17, the air cell in all of them is non-existent. They are still being rolled but day 18 is approaching. Should I continue to roll them? One egg was moving around on its own on day 16 and it's not anymore. Could the chick be injured? Any answers or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Day 18 will be here in the next few hours. Thanks in advance!!

I'm pretty new at this but my suggestion is no, don't continue to turn them. The lid should be closed to contain the humidity and the chicks need to "do their own thing". Regardless of the air sac's size at this point, I don't think there is much to be gained, and lots to lose, by continuing to open the bator. Good luck!!!

According to the display day 18 will be here in 1hr 30 mins, which means only one more turn, is it really worth turning it off? the next turn will be in 30 mins. By the way, there is NO air cell at all.

I would lock them down now. It is not neccessary to turn them that one last time. It may be that the chick is already breaking into the aircell. That would make the egg entirely black. Some studies have shown you don't need to turn them after day 14 as the chick is active enough on its own that they won't stick to the shell.
