Getting rid of skunk smell?

Hey girl what ended up happening with the smell in your car?
How long did it take to go away?

I completely forgot about this thread
I wanna say it took about a week for the smell to go away? I ended up buying new air fresheners and keeping a dish of baking soda between the seats to help get rid of the smell

I did have to throw the clothes away - I washed them several times with several different products and nothing worked

Have you tried hanging them on a clothesline outside for a week or so? Fresh air, sunshine and time may be the best cure.
