I'm too lazy to spend time petting my Super Special Giant Shamo. My other Oriental Gamefowls (Thai Hybrid Fighting Bloodline) are pretty docile and comes up to me, no problem even though I don't pick them up and pet them.A well bred shamo, like any other well bred oriental hardfeather should be quite easy to get pics of. "Coming to hand" as they call it is an important trait that should always be selected for.
Harvey is just gorgeous!I think my Harvey is bigger than your Shamo.

So the 'Giant Gene' DOES exist!! As I've said before.I had a rooster that was 33 inches tall, he came from line of backyard bred chickens all standard size, Tried to bred him but could not get any chicks out of him
I did not test him for a genetic mutation, it could also be an illness affecting the thyroid gland like so many of humans that have gigantism. Who knows they do pop up from time to time on chickensSo the 'Giant Gene' DOES exist!! As I've said before.
