I've seen rats like that by the railroad tracks, they want to get in when it gets cold.

We had rats (probably that size) get under our house this past winter. You could hear them running through the walls and gnawing on things. They caused a LOT of damage before we managed to seal up all the entries and kill them.

This is scary. i'm sure i have them outside, too, but didn't want to think about it.

I dont regularly scream like a little girl but they dont scare BUT they do give me shivers when they run over my foot and I have flip flops on that gave me chills. I was putting my Birds up tonight AND ONE RAN OVER MY FOOT! YUCK!!!

I worked in a sugar mill in the 80's I watched rats larger than that climb up and run accross conduit so fast it would make a monkey blush
