It's fine, as long as it's just kept to a minimum.Topaz is beautiful. I can delete all my posts about the pullet if you want me to.
I know there was a couple golden & silver Duckwings with the chickens she came from, so your probably right.Wildtype is the BB Red coloration on males, & Salmon breasts, & ground color on females.
Has the similar coloration to a red JungleFowl, the coloration is also called Duckwing, & comes Red, Golden, & Silver.
Silver is a dominant trait, do you have silvers in your flocks? Your bird shows no sign of silver since it is gold based.I know there was a couple golden & silver Duckwings with the chickens she came from, so your probably right.
Okay. I was getting alittle bit confused. No I don't have silvers in my flock. But with the chickens the chick's mom came from there wasn't any silvers originally, but there's so many crosses in those chickens a few silver Duckwing hens and one rooster appeared one day. Those chickens aren't mine, and their just running around freely so they started out with some really common colors, now there's splash, silver penciled lemon mile fleur, a lot of brown reds, a lot of lemon blues, and a whole lot more weird colors.
