I've never heard of Amoxicillin be given for pain? Just for future reference, you can get Amoxicillin online, in fish and bird form without an RX.

The vet gave it to me when my duck was attacked, so I didn't know if it had to be prescribed or not. Thanks

Can you recommend b vitamins for me? I have vitamin b complex but I want to be sure it’s safe

I use this from TSC, the dosing instructions are on the side, but I used 1 ml for a 1 pound chicken in a cup of water. You can use a human tablet if you crush it to a fine powder and mix in water.
It is hard to overdose on B vitamins as what the body doesn’t use is excreted from the body.

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, and does need to be prescribed by a vet.
For pain, I would use the aspirin.

The current brand at TSC is Aspen but its the same stuff as this. You can get it for her tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure the pain meds were something different- I'll have to go check the box. And no, he didn't. He was getting better, then just up and died. He had a broken wing, and it was infested with maggots. Maggots were gone real easy, but he got dead tissue on the wing. We fixed that too, but he still died.

Cattle B Complex would contain more niacin per ml (100mg per ml) so you may look into getting that instead. TSC carries Durvet brand, and Aspen brand, either one will work. On an ingredient basis, they are nearly the same.
