Chirping
Hi,
My vet prescribed doxycycline twice a day orally through syringe for my rooster for e. Coli infection and amoxicillin capsules diluted with water and syringe fed orally twice a day as well for staph infection.
Can I give my boy one syringe right after the other of the different medications or should I do completely separate times for each antibiotic dose? My understanding is it should be 12 hrs apart for each dose, so right now I'm doing 8am and 8pm for the doxy. Can I do the same hours for the amoxicillin?
Also my vet gave me the amoxicillin capsules to give 1 1/2 "tablets" of it to him. How do I measure a half capsule? Do I open them and just dilute the powder contents with water? He didn't explain it to me...
