Mitts stumbled around, trying to find food. She had no idea where anything was and she was very hungry.

"Hi Lana," Shark liked the submission. "Can I help you with something? You've seemed to be looking at me a lot lately."

Lana did not think it would be a good idea to act too straightforward with the Alpha at this point. There was too much of a chance Shark would not approve of her. "I suppose I have been," Lana said, looking down at her front paws. "You seem to have a nice pack, and I guess thinking about anything other than Saabi right now is inviting." She glanced at Mitts. "I am sorry that Mitts got injured trying to help her Sapphire. Do you think she will be able to escape safely with the others?" Lana's expression became one of genuine worry.

Mitts nodded and got up. She didn’t like having to have everyone do everything for her all the time. She wanted to be on her own again, but her head said otherwise.

Gold hurried over the the food and selecting a nice sized chunk. He trotted back to Mitts and ripped it up a little for her. "Here," Gold put it down in front of her.

Mitts eagerly ate the meat. It felt good to have something back into her empty stomach. Mitts nodded at gold to show she was thankful, then wobbled a bit, then collapsed back down.
