Ok, Ok, I know, they are all gluttons. But this little one has me worried. S/he eats SO much it has cleavage. I have never seen a bird with a crop so full. S/he is about 6 weeks old and will swallow anything. I feed fresh veggies to my parrots every morning, then bring some out for the chickens. This little beast (named Toast) will jump up to grab it and swallow it whole. If I try to feed anyone else, it will steal it from them - mature roo included. This is also the sweetest chicken I own. I have no idea what it is, not that that probably matters. What I am concerned about is the size of its crop. Always hugely full and Toast is still looking for more. None of the others look or act like that. Is s/he just a glutton, or could there be another underlying issue?
I wish I could post a pic, but I only have internet at work and therefore can not post pix. *sigh*
Thanks!
