My biggest issue with this is that Monsanto spent billions making corn RoundUp resistent, not making corn more nutritional, less fertilizer dependent, more drought tolerant, perennial rather than annual, any number of other benenficial changes. Why, because these changes do not benefit the company making the fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides etc. Making corn nitrogen fixing would be a fantastic change. Monsanto has also sued farmers for "using" their technology when the farmers corn was cross pollinated by Monsanto's corn.

I found it!!! Google is great!! Here is the address for the watchdog group that exposes the factory farms marketing most of the "organic" products in today's supermarkets. Click on the dairy report on the left. They rate all those organic brands of milk. Amazing!!

Where to start....

1) Monsanto has not sued anyone for crosspollination of crops but they have been sued.

2) The GMO crops are using genes that the general public is already eating in another plant.

3) Want to eat non-GMO crops, great. Be ready to pay for it. Ag is already facing a world crisis for food as population is outgrowing supply. W/out GMO crop, yields would be at least 20% less. For those that dispute this, put out a plot--I do for a living, it is fact.

4) For those that think companies should not be able to protect their research, send me you name and address so I can visit to take whatever I think I might want that you have worked for and earned.

5) Keeping privately developed seed was ALWAYS illegal, it's just the benefits of enforcing these laws cost more than the loss. Farmers "stole" without penalty for decades, to the point where they thought it was their "right".

This is just a start on the situation. No, I don't work for Monsanto or a subsidary, in fact I hate what is happening to my industry, but Monsanto's dominance has been earned.

Complain about Monsanto........and say nothing about Wal-Mart ! They both are in the top 6 in the world in companies with "shady" dealings! Monsanto with unhealthy practices and Wal-Mart with the sweat shop's it deals with so you can buy shirts and pants from them! Make up your mind, if you are going to complain about one thing, you should complain about the other......

1) nitrogen fixing corn (target release is 2010).

2) There is a complete line-up of "high lysine" corn as well as other "more nutritional" corn releases. Yields are down and consumers won't pay for the quality as end product or for the extra costs of making the seed.

3) drought gene has target release of 2010.

4) Perennial rather than annual...talk about messing w/genes and GMO.....​

Simple solution to your problems......get the general public to pay for what they want. American labor can not work as cheap as slave labor, thus has to charge more, but patriotic Americans will not pay more for "American" made products. They talk the talk but won't walk the walk. Walmart use to advertise "only American products" but couldn't find the products and American public wanted (bought) cheap slave products.....
