No you didn't screw up. Permethrin is permethrin...no matter what bottle it's sold in.
This bottle you got is just a stronger concentration than what's normally recommend for birds.
Just means you use less if you are spraying it on them. It's fine for the yard.

I understand your point idk ur area but i tell u ive used craigslist for over 10 years id rather it over fb mosta the time and i have been burned about 3 times. Didnt ever find trouble like harm to myself but i am very careful. If im going to someones house alone at least one person knows where i am, i try to have someone with me. yest it was 3 people, not becuz i was nervous but becuz i have close friends and family. I try to talk to the person to get a feel for them. I try to meet in public locations and i always look at what im buying before forking out the cash. One of those burns was a terrible product and i walked away after driving an hr one way. I got my brinsea octo 40 from craigslist for only 1/4 of what it wouldve cost new. Ive gotten many a critter from people who didnt kno what they were getn into and not had a problem but i always quarantined. One of those burns was a snake 11 yrs ago she was sick and she killed the snake i unknowingly put her directly with. I was 19 lol but havent lost another charge like that since then same as i vow w these

Something i havent yet put on this thread is the fact this was so hurtful because litterally the same day i was posting this thread, i was suposed to be npip certified at 9 AM, Friday. I had to cancel with the deaths and i was on the verge of making legal out of state sales.

Update directly on birds and bugs

The gnats are still here. Still no more deaths. bugs are in low numbers but i havent been able to get DH to cut the overgrow place directly next door. There are Zero bugs inside any coop and none landing on the birds free ranging altho theyre still a nusience to me and the children still wont be able to go outside. I sprayed all of the pasture that DH cut and i sprayed half of the other neighbors yard but he cut it today. My orkin friend says thats not good i should respray and from here thruout this insanity i should spray everytime the grass is cut jus continue to make sure it dries before the critters have access. so plan is when DH gets home from the remodle on the flooded place he will cut that and i will be able to go spray all of whats left on his yard. Used up about 2 gals of it already so about 1/2 gal left. TSC gets their next truck w these supplies on Tuesday.
