I just used google. I searched for jrock bands and then would select a name/band and then search for info on them, and then I use youtube to listen to their music and see the videos they have made.
the bands I like are The GazettE, An Cafe, Nightmare, Alice Nine, dir en grey, and Vidoll.

I don't think I started watching it until season 3. I had flipped to it a couple of times, but one time was when Hurley was throwing the food around and all I thought was why are they wasting food if they are on a island in the middle of nowhere? and another time was him with the imaginary guy(forgot his name)
Someone at my moms work gave her a disk and that is how we got hooked.
