The ends of the stakes, the part that goes into the ground.

I got the stakes for free, so if they don't work out for goat fencing I haven't lost any money.

I bought an elderly ND buck because he had excellent breeding, nice offspring and his price was way low. I am now raising all my cross fences by 1 foot because the old guy thinks he's Pegasus and will not stay where I put him. Below is $1000 worth of new fence panels to keep him where he belongs.
