Going to try hatching some Ayam Cemanis again

The event has a Facebook group (if you are on Facebook). You have to join the group to see anything, so it might have vendor information on there if you do. That is how I found a lot of the vendor information for the Oregon swap, I had to join the group. The Oregon one also has a pretty decent website. The Utah one may, too, but I have had zero luck finding it.

I have been trying to get the incubator set up today, since I'd like to get it set up before ordering hatching eggs, but I can't figure out how the auto turning mechanism works :hmm

You can probably google "[incubator name] auto turner instructions" or something of the sort, if the instructions with the incubator weren't clear enough, or I'm sure someone here could give you some advice if you say what incubator it is and what your specific issue is.

The instructions are clear on how to set it up, but I'm just not sure how the auto-turner is supposed to work

It has a thing for the eggs with modular dividers so it can accommodate different types of eggs, and then has kind of a slit in the plastic piece which connects to a motor, and I'm not sure how it's supposed to actually turn the eggs. That's a good idea, I'll probably try it with a few regular eggs before I get the actual hatching eggs.

Lol you sure are an Autodidact like me ;)

The motor pushes the tray from left to right. The dividers in turn slide the eggs, which roll with the tray. When sliding, the side that was facing down ends up facing up. It is this movement that turns the eggs.

I'm still a bit nervous about incubating eggs, I still feel a bit like I don't know exactly what I'm doing
I'm not totally sure about controlling the humidity.
