I just love all the new chicks that are being posted. Congrats on the new hatching's everyone. My baby's are growing so nicely. I love all the lacing coming in. They have exceptionally nice personalities. So calm and loving. They move like my cornish when they run. It is so funny to watch them.

I really need to post some. They are really getting beautiful and large. They are almost the same size as my Blue Orpingtons already.

Just the two pullets. I am going to try to get them side by side in the next day or two. The male was checking out the nest box and he started to crow. He is also trying to breed older hens, however they are not so forgiving of his sloppy advances. I have a Cukoo Marans in with him and perhaps she will be his first to practice on. She is also checking out the nest and coloring up nicely. She was a new years hatch and should be getting ready soon. Nice size girl for so young.

Of course all of our March hatch turned out to be boys. So now we are on the hunt for some more eggs to hatch and HOPE for girls this time.

They must be close to 5 months old now. Growing up so fast. Still baby's, yet they do not look like baby's.
