Golden Comet Roo or Hen?

Ok, I researched the butt out of Golden Comets because I wanted to make sure I got good temperament girls to go in with my 1 Barred Rock and 2 Ameraucanas--little did I know I could get a surprise 2nd gen red roo. Please tell me this isn't a Roo!!!! He/She is the sweetest one and I've of course grown attached to it--can't keep a Roo though.

It's definitely bigger than the other 3
Darker Red
The waddle and comb are much more prominent
My husband swears he heard "her" cock a doodle--I think he's crazy

I've heard you have to really watch the sweet ones. Are they actually 2nd gen? The color sexing is only supposed to work correctly with 1st gen I believe.
