How can I tell the difference in my golden laced Wyandotte chicks because some are dark black and others have a lot of gold on them with longer tail feathers. They all look different but they were supposed to be sexed when we got them. Does anyone have any ideas on how to tell a rooster from a Pullet? Thank you.

The roosters will have combs that are larger and redder and will develope feathers quit a bit slower than the hens. I hope this helps!

Ok so I have one that is almost all black, would you say he/ she is a rooster, and it also has really long tail feathers
