Golden Phoenix ?

They WERE docile. He would come running up to her everyday when we fed, so she would hold him. Then one day I guess he figured out he was a rooster and it just progressively got worse. He was leaving bite marks and scratches all over her arms and face and just barely missed her eyes a couple of times. I even turned him out into the pasture so he wouldn't get her, but he would come running as soon as she opened the pasture gate.

Thats not good. Glad you got rid of him. Hope that doesn't make your not like longtails anymore though. They tend to be pretty docile, but once in a while, there is the "odd one" : )

We are looking for some golden phoenix hens if anyone knows where i can find some in the Florida area could you please let me know. pullets would be fine also. Thank you.
