Good Chicken Breeds to Show

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what some popular chicken showing breeds are. I don't think I will be showing Silkies anytime soon because my other chickens would end up bullying it due to it's unique appearance. But I am very interested in showing some breeds that are mostly friendly, are good layers, and do not look completely different than another, more standard chicken.

The appearance in relation to your current chickens shouldn't matter much in the pecking order. Comparative size might matter, but again, not much. It's all based on the personality of the birds. I would go online and find what breeds interest you and what kinds of chickens local breeders have. Go do some research! You will be more successful showing a bird you are highly interested in and enjoy working with than one you hear is easy to show.There are quizzes online that can tell you what breeds are the best match for your wants and needs, that might be a good place to start.
