>>Goose Attack<< (graphic)

Good to see she's doing well, Beenie. Thanks for the update!

i'm so glad she is doing better! After that i'm surprised all of the ducks and geese hang out together at the park? I've been chased before and they even tore my mom's skirt, but attacking the little duck...that's low! She is so much smaller, what's the point? Maybe someone will adopt your geese who wants them for guard duty...
p.s. she is a pretty girl and i'm sure her feathers will grow back!

We're setting up a different pen for the geese right now since they havent found a home yet.

They've been running around loose, sometimes the ducks come out too & they were doing fine UNTIL TONIGHT...

Everyone went back in the open pen when i walked in there earlier and the geese just went NUTS attacking another one of my hens!! Luckily we were there and broke it up before Lilly lost an eye or something. I HATE THEM.... I have Never wanted to boot an animal but i just wanted to send all 4 of them across the field today when they did that.

she was only a little scratched up thankfully. Right away we locked the ducks in and the geese will just have to continue hanging out in the yard at night.

There's been too many ups & downs with my poor muscovies lately, It just sucks.

What kind of geese are they? im so sorry by the way, for your duck...i have never thought geese would do that to ducks or anything....i have geese with my ducks right now but they act as the protectors more than anything...i have 6 and some ducks all in a pen together...did you just put them in with your ducks recently or something cause i have heard that you have to introduce birds gradually cause they are so mean sometimes to new birds....again sorry for your bird...

I am having issues with my geese terrorizing the smaller ducks and hens. The two worst culprits have been removed, but now one of the more mellow geese has taken over the role of bully. I got geese to help protect the ducks from predators, but who'll protect the ducks from the geese?

I'm glad your duck is recovering. Your story worries me because I fear that is where I am headed with my ducks and geese. I have been hoping that the problems will work themselves out, but I see from the pictures of poor Nibbles that I may have to be more proactive.

Thanks for sharing.
