Yea she had placed an add with a pic selling goslings. I just asked if she might sell some bigger ones later on and got a lecture in return.

What I think is kinda cool is their beaks & legs are blue ! The eyes are stunning against the chocolate brown

Would you be willing to sell eggs next season if you get the adult pair? I have always thought the egyptian geese were as noble looking as their namesakes. They can fly right?

I don't know, we will see. But if I do, you are the first to ask so I would give you first dibs (if I get them)
The pair I might be getting weigh 15 pounds each, so they are not little and she doesn't have any problem with them flying. I had asked her about flightiness & such. So they ARE laying right now too! I might get eggs this season. She has 2-3 adult pairs available! I only want 1 maybe two, depending on shipping. She is getting back to me today on how much. Right now weather is permitting ~ But not for much longer, then I would have to wait for fall & would also miss a clutch of eggs .....

I appreciate that! If you dont get them then no worries, things may change for me next season to where i couldnt get any, you never know. You are the first person that i know of (personally or elsewhere) that has any thats why i asked.

Goose update:
I was able to check on my gosling count today. My mom made it out of surgery with success and a happy doctor. Shes ok for now. So i went and counted babies under Maggie, i have 7 so far and 1 pipped. Bill had struck again i have 4 pied like Stormy, 1 pure tufted white, 1 that i swear is a saddleback unless little tufted gander goslings look like that at hatch? Hes white with a grey head and back patch, and 1 weirder one its white with a stripe from the top of its head to its butt like a reverse skunk, extreme splash? Maybe? Unless it dries different its sure gonna be one to watch grow. Maggie is still on the nest but so far 7 possibly 8 goslings out of 15 eggs. Im so proud of her. Shes a good momma too so far.

I have 2 males, that I am raising until fall for the BBQ

They are so cool! I go in their pen and they come running up, and I have learned not to wear open toed shoes THEY LOVE your little piggies

And really like the painted ones !!! If I am feeding the rabbits "He-Man" will bite my butt! It is just a pinch but YOUCH! They also love bugs n worms. Worms are their fave treat! Don't like cherries though.
I should get a pic of them.

Well it is nice that RHEA EGGS are WHITE

Because I candled them last nite and ....... THEY ARE BOTH DEVELOPING !!!! I saw HUGE Spiders in them . This means I get to watch them grow! To stinking cool!!! Um ya I am a little excited

This morning 8 goslings with 1 pipped would have been 9 goslings but a little white was smashed in the nest. I cant see any of the other eggs though. 10 fully formed out of 15 is good, too bad one little one is dead though.

I lost another solid white this morning. Not sure how looked like it just laid down and died. She has 7 fluff balls with her now, Daddy Tufted has taken on his role of father finally and hasnt left their side. I was trying to clean out the nest picked up one egg and there was a freshly hatched goslings covered in dirt under it. Hes alive and i have him inside. I gave him a bath and blow dried him but its still iffy, hes lively but im not getting my hopes up like i did on the others. Worst part is hes what ive been wanting, hes not normal colored. Doesnt look like a white or a brown, hes silver. I have understood that is what a dilute gray looks like as a gosling from what ive read. None of his hatch mates look like him.
