Quote: This is about breeding, so should it be under breeding? I would hate to miss the fertile egg season because my goose needed a Mohawk where the sun don't shine.![]()
I see you have ask this question on here several times.. I have Sebastopol's and I have never trimmed their feathers. But I guess if you think you will get better fertilized doing so have at it. Not me, they can crap on you doing so. Just treating a foot they crap..This is about breeding, so should it be under breeding? I would hate to miss the fertile egg season because my goose needed a Mohawk where the sun don't shine.![]()
Quote: LOL yes they do crap a lot. I just heard this and I wondered if it was common. I won't cut their feathers !
My advise is give them a pool to make out in. People say they feel they breed better in the pool. Mine do it where ever they please!!LOL yes they do crap a lot. I just heard this and I wondered if it was common. I won't cut their feathers !
My geese do NOT like it when there's breeding going on. The ducks have started at it again and every time a drake gets on a duck, all 16 geese surround the mating and yell at the drake until he gets off. (Just like a schoolyard fight) Then at least two geese chase him and bite him afterward. From the noise, one would think there was a bear in the yard!
