GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

Sounds like shes on a roll. I hate gettin bit one of my little chinese girls likes to bite me i have tried everything to break her from it. Partly why i decided to sell her and a gander. Are you going to check this one?
I think I'll wait till #4 or 5 they haven't even been mating the last couple days because the weather changed back cold and the spring froze so no water in their pool. I am usually ready for him but i had the feed bucket between us and he got me anyway, I walked him up the hill and laid him down on his belly and sat on him for a few min. It won't make any difference though. lol
Had anyone interested in your Chinese pair yet?

I havent seen any mating other than Bill with the young chinese girls. I doubt that these eggs are fertile i havent seen any ganders interested in her.
Nothing ive done with mine has changed her. I have never been bit by my ganders its always been the girls.
I put two pairs of pied chinese up for sale or trade. I have had a few interested in trading but nothing has followed through. Im trying to trade for a donkey to protect the animals. A bred jenny is what i want, thought i had one but they decided they didnt want geese so they kept their donkey.

Ouch sorry to hear it miss Lydia. My gander and geese haven't bit me. Well Boris bit my boot when I took Natasha' body away from him. Other than that he hisses when i first come out. Then he calms down. Thankful he isn't more aggressive.

Love donkeys! My dad bought me one when I was a kid. She was pregnant and had a baby a year later. The baby was great! They have a thousand times more personality than horses. I love horses too. They are more like goat crossed with a dog.

I love them too. We have had a couple through out the years. The last one was a jerusalem jenny she would drink pepsi right from the bottle. Hold it in her teeth head in the air and guzzle it down. She had a solid white baby jack for us. The horses are fun but i agree a donkey has something special about them.
I am so glad it worked! That's a beautiful egg. Maybe you can have each of your girls making their own ornaments every year this way! Lol.

Me too! lts special to me because of who it came from. Once i got the mud off it looks even better its kind of tie-dyed. It would make a good ornament just the way it is. Authentic goose booty painted eggs lol

Okay we need to see it now that's it's cleaned up.
