I was wondering approximatley how many eggs an Embden female can lay a year? I have read 25 - 35 and even up to 70. Which is more accurate? Is this even possible? Can the female lay 2 eggs in one day?

Embden are not the best egg laying breed, (Chinese) but they can lay pretty well. My Chinese would lay at least one every other day, but sometimes more. And quite a few double yolks. Boy, were those eggs BIG.
I've found most geese lay about one every other day, and they will lay either until they get broody, or until they're done. That can be well into the summer.
I usually let my geese go broody because pretty soon there are A LOT of goose eggs in the fridge waiting to be eaten.
