i need to set some goose eggs and i thought i would try under my turkey hen if she starts to set. i have been saving her eggs to put in incubator. any opinions?

A bit off topic, but....Last year I placed 6 Chocolate Muscovy duck eggs under a Black Cochin bantam hen. She hatched 4. Went nuts when I placed a water bowl in the coop for swimming! The ducklings went to the water....well like ducks! She weaned them a bit earlier than a duck would have, but they were larger then she was.
As for the goose sitting on any eggs. Definitely make certain she is broody.

My taught me years ago....duck eggs ok under a hen, goose eggs too even turkey hens.
Seen many chicken hens with duckling, they are funny around a pond, she goes crazy calling them, but no they will not go in after them.
DONT put chicken eggs or turkey eggs under water fowl, they will follow the foster mother right into water ,pond or a water dish.
